Surprising Emotions Hiding Poem by daisy vigil

it's so surprising how we show emotion:
with happiness, it's a smile or a laugh
with sadness it's a show of frown or even a tear,
but as i look into your eye,
i don't see happiness
i see tears locked up in your eyes like inmates in their cells just waiting to be released and free to expose their emotions
but as i look into your eyes,
i see sadness, fear, worry, and no longer joy.
And it worries me for when we were little,
you always had the biggest smile on your face, laughed like there was no tomorrow.
But i guess it's just diffrent when you look into someone else's eyes
