Survival Shadow Poem by Lilith Van'Nightinveil

Survival Shadow

She's stuck in survival mode from her childhood days,
Haunted by shadows where the sun's lost its rays.
She lost that innocence you can't replace,
A broken mirror, her dreams erased.

The laughter of children, a distant song,
In the silence of night, she wonders where she belongs.
Now she's a pro at hiding her pain,
A master of disguise in a world gone insane.

The little girl that she once was,
Lives in her body, holding her up because
She's all that remains of a stolen youth,
A guardian angel bearing the truth.

She grew up too quick, she couldn't adjust,
In the harsh winds of fate, she misplaced her trust.
That cycle of pain really messed her up,
Left her sipping sorrow from a bottomless cup.

She navigates a world with a fragile heart,
A warrior with scars that tear her apart.
But in her eyes, a flicker of hope remains,
A silent rebellion against her chains.

Each step she takes, a testament to strength,
A journey of healing, no matter the length.
For though she's stuck in survival mode,
In her heart, a fire still glows.

She'll find her way, reclaim her grace,
Rewrite her story, find her place.
The pain of the past, a fading scar,
She'll rise from the ashes, a bright new star.
