Sweet Dancer Poem by Reynaldo Casison

Sweet Dancer

Rating: 5.0

I guess I should've known,
By the way you sway,
Your hips,
That you're a sweet dancer,

Lady, Sway your way,
Night and day,

I guess I should've known,
By the way you twirl,
Your hair,
That your Rhythm,
Is Beauty and love,

The lillies kiss it with love,
And along with us,
even the Seagull wings,
Sigh,

Lady, Sway your way,
Night and day,

I guess I should've known,
By the way you wear,
Your dress,
That you're a sweet dancer,
Some of them vintage,
And velvet,

Lady, Sway your way,
Night and day,
Sway your way,
Night and day
