Sweet Jacqueline Poem by Ste. Anne

Sweet Jacqueline

Young sparrow sits in a spindly tree
White shirt buttoned up to his throat.
Sings all the long hot afternoon
Oh sweet, oh sweet, oh sweet.

But another stands in a finer tree
Shirt open on birdly breast.
Sings Oh sweet Jacqueline, Jacqueline
Oh sweet Jacqueline, Jacqueline, Jacqueline.

What a fine imagery, involving two sparrows, you have created! This is incredible. I just love it. Young sparrow sits in a spindly tree White shirt buttoned up to his throat.
