Sweet Serendipity (Sonnet #79) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Sweet Serendipity (Sonnet #79)

I would trade the whole world to see you smile
The world matters not; you're all my soul's got
Perhaps in July we'll walk down the aisle
Whispering stars lie not; we'll tie the knot

Smooth will be our life, tender in its mood
Vibes so gentle, from Jan till December
Curry rice, cherry tart; I'll cook good food
To your true, honest love, I surrender

All my dreams are weaved around us, sweet love
I forgot all my life before you came
You lifted my soul; with new goals, I strove
To fulfill lost dreams; free, I became

I do thank that sweet serendipity
When we met, when fate crossed my destiny
