Swiped Poem by Lakshmi Karat

Swiped

When she wandered around the dessert

She swiped that clouds to quench her thirst.
Down came those drops detached from the grey lap.
Through her throat the drops went all the way soothening their path..
Little she knew the salted drops did wandered a lot to reach her throat!
Little she felt the warmth in the drops yes, sun did miss her a lot!
Little she heard all those whispers
the wind always did murmured so soft!
Love when whispered always went unheard..
