Sympathetic Poem by Victor Osorio

Sympathetic

Rating: 3.0

She read the words
The creation of a child
The words of a dreamer
Through this, she lived every emotion
The sadness of my life
The hardships of my struggles
My words come alive inside her
Her physical reactions break her down
Just the way I lived them
Sitting in a chair and staring up
Talking through your mind
Maybe you're trying to talk to me
You don't belong here
But you want to visit
You lived my pain, now turn the page
The worst never happened
Because in the end
It wasn't me that took my life
Maybe it was my time
My words are sympathetic
Remember to breathe
as you live them.
