Symphony Of The Storm Poem by Saiom Shriver

Symphony Of The Storm

Lightning cracks clouds open.
Then thunder loudly rumbles.
The wind screams.
Rain begins to tapdance
on roofs and cobblestones
but quietly merges in pools.
Gradually the dance subsides
until only the xylophone
of drip drip drip
remains
in dropping refrain.
