The Fates have failed at last
Unyielding a bond has set reform

Time alarmed seeks advice
To play the waiting game to dust

Distance too faints in peril
The hearts seemed set to blend

Emotions stray wide amok
Finding life in another's beat.

Facts stare in stoned awe
Never before such divine truce

Pain has fled in dreaded shock
Left before its put to shame.

Mind to mind we heard the call
Heart to heart we crossed the wall
Soul to soul we touched the end
Life to life, we will set the trend.
