Take Life At Life's Terms. Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Take Life At Life's Terms.

The world spins on, it will not wait,
For plans you make, or sealed by fate.
Things shift and change, like windblown sand,
A helping hand, or an empty hand.

So let go now, of how it 'should' be,
And open your eyes, to what you see.
The rain will fall, the sun will shine,
A bitter drop, 'a taste of wine'.

No use to fight, or rage, or moan,
The seed is planted, now it's grown.
Accept the now, this very place,
Then choose your path with gentle grace.

Forgive yourself, for all you've missed,
And know that strength does still exist.
Just breathe it in, this honest air,
And start again, without despair.
