Take Me Away Poem by Marqese Dabbs

Take Me Away

The spirit of earn bearded me
I've seen hearts wilt in the darkest hours
Kneeling, the empires of faith
Unraveled and then consumed
They where all alone, sealed by the shadows
Engaging in a war of hearts
Am I to be the same
Thoughts will devour my vehemence
In silence all alone
In need of guidance, take me my prayer
As my soul wanders it calls for its own heaven
Take me away
Take me to the world of intense feeling
deep affection
The seasons of grace that be with reason
I heard she can control the thunder
She nights the darkened sky with stars
Tear the pain asunder
Strengthen me in these times of sorrow
Finding the virtues treasure in her form
Coming unto me
Lighting the path
Take me away
