I no longer know what to do,
I'm sick of running away,
and feeling so far from You.
So please take me back,
a relationship with You
is what I lack.
Don't let me run away again,
keep me in Your arms,
save me from the rain.
I promise I will try
to stay close to You,
I don't want to cry,
and waste my life away.
When I'm with You,
things don't seem so gray.
So Lord please save me
from this nightmare I'm living,
I want to fully see
Your purpose for my life,
take away my desire
to turn to the knife.
You died for me
it's time to live for You,
this I see
and this I'll do.
