Take On Us Poem by Pierre Rausch

Take On Us

She told me nothing
A natural talent for trade
At least at the start
That marked as an ex-boxer

I ran into a girl and don't recognize her
I go down the boulevarfd and guess I'll see her
Grab my mic and feel comfortable
Not much of choice
It's a suggestion to you
It all evens out

Pursed her lips for an instant
Working undercover
To help me achieve that goal
Staring in amazement

I ran into a girl and don't recognize her
I go down the boulevarfd and guess I'll see her
Grab my mic and feel comfortable
Not much of choice
It's a suggestion to you
It all evens out

Take on us
Take on us
Take on us
Take on us
And looked over at her
Succesfully done so
Just letting them go
Just letting them go

I ran into a girl and don't recognize her
I go down the boulevarfd and guess I'll see her
Grab my mic and feel comfortable
Not much of choice
It's a suggestion to you
It all evens out

Take on us
Take on us
Take on us
Take on us
And looked over at her
Succesfully done so
Just letting them go
Just letting them go
