TAKEN
Blackness lurks in my soul; I am frightened by its presence.
It has taken control of my inner thoughts and my actions.
I am a slave to the darkness of what is to come.
I have no will to carry on into the world that is before me.
You look at me and think that I am strong, alive, and ready for the fight,
But I have faltered in my beliefs and only linger in daily existence.
I have become what no man should become, I have become unimaginable.
It is wise to keep your distance, until I can get back in control of my life.
Disgrace follow me as I walk through the night, I have no control.
Life as I once knew has vanished; I now live a life of cruel intentions.
Diminished capacity, diminished love, diminished will to survive.
I try to push this darkness away, I try, but I am weak now, and I have doubts.
Pray for me, Pray that I will get through this time of undeniable hatred for myself.
Pray for me; pray that I survive the evil that torments my soul so thoroughly.
Pray that I might find myself, find my will, and find the strength to resist this devil.
Pray that I may be with the ones that I love, the ones I admire, the ones I care for.
I have been TAKEN, and I want to come home.
