Tale Of Pain Poem by Jessica Yang

Tale Of Pain

Please
I beg of you
Hear my tale of pain:
Do you understand
How it is to have joy then to be robbed from it?
Do you know how it feels
To resort to the unthinkable
To resort to a hollow face
And empty eyes
Or do you know how be stricken by a pang of regret
and be slapped by your own confusion
Beaten down,
sobbing on the floor
That
is my tale of pain

It's okay
I promise
You did your best
So it's fine
Relax
It's okay
It's not your fault
And don't be mad or sad
Goodnight

Your now the only thing to keep me sane
To keep me from decomposing
From hurting myself

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was feeling sad one night...I complained to my friend and she comforted me using those words. It doesn't matter if no one enjoys it, I just wanted to put it out there.
