Talk About Work - Poem by kwane Lamb

“BY THE SWEAT OF YOUR BLOW”
That says much concerning a …
Man and a Woman…

That gift which God gave to man…
That queen you lie down with…
Smile with…

Dance and eat with…
You, man…should also keep…
In mind the respect of…

Talk about working…
By the sweat of ones brow…
A relationship is more of a…
Working after hours…

And down the road…reaping what…
You’ve sewn…
What is a man without…
His queen…

What is a man without his dream…
What is a man…?
Talk about working…

A man respects a woman…
The whole of her…
Her very essences…
Should excite his very being…

That respect which came from…
His mother…
Carrying over to his wife…
Or wife to be…

Freedom is not freedom…
If there is no respect involved…
Within that relationship…

A burden is the term used…
In most cases concerning the relationship…
Which is probably used for the lack of…
For a relationship is not a burden…

But a wonderful experience…
At best…
And the beauty of it all…

Is your woman….
So be an oak tree…
Rooted with a willow tree in mind…

For bending binds…
As well as mends…
A sense of togetherness…

A union like that of the universe…
Consider the moon and sun…
What an order that is…

Which pleases the earth well…
As you can… also please your queen…
Playfulness, always on the menu…

A licking of the tongue…
In a jest manner…
Would ring a bell…
Dishes washed as part of…

Bring out the kid in you both…
Not really playing hop-scotch…
But you get my point…

Out right showing your love…
With that respect riding high…
Not knowing what is hen pecked…
Learning many ways which to fly…

Conversations lead to foreplay…
And the rest…is His-story…
