Talk To Me

Oh Lord, dear God, where are You?
Whatever is my crime?
What other way must I pursue
With You, to spend some time

You know I'm here, know I seek
An audience when I pray
Why to me do You fail to speak?
What's happening today?

From the first months, church attending
Since making Christ my choice
Knowing You live, I‘ve been depending
Hearing my Father's voice

I know You talk, know You hear
Attentive night and day
I know Father, You're always near
But why have You nought to say?

Forgive me if I've done You wrong
If others I've offended
Why has this silence been so long?
How can it soon be ended?

I love my God, Jesus Your Son
Your Holy Ghost within
Forgiving all I've said and done
So what is now my sin?

I want, crave, more You to know
To alleviate this pain
To feel Your touch, the comforting glow
Hearing Your voice again

I know my Father's everywhere
My faith in Christ is true
You know my heart, the things I care
Still all I need is You…..
