Tango In A Tornado Poem by Jennifer Colyne Hall

Tango In A Tornado

Deflated winds in a hurricane
My life experience
Quite the long tunnel
Decomposing insides
Got me wondering if it
happened at all
Another life - not this one
This isn't like you,
illusion of hope
I miss you...
you are right beside me
Wondering with peppered thoughts
A cosmic feeling of turbulence
Rushing judgement
dreams of darkness
Reaching out
epic emotions leaking through
You call out to me
All alone, then
you get emotional
Saying 'Please wait -
I've made a mistake.....'
Now and then we all do
After all, you mirror me
sensitive, and emotional
When something gets to you
it gets to me
Accept my hand,
We'll walk this journey together
always and forever
Through the toughest storms
weathered and beaten
My love will stand
