Tantalus Poem by Michael Anthony

Tantalus

'Thou art a lecher, whose mind is as malleable as the grass you once stood on,
so now you stand in water.
Now you quench your thirst with air,
satisfy your esurience with wind,
and sing hymns to silence the oddities of unremitting perdition.
Say you; speak, leper! '.

'Very well', replied Tantalus,
'I shall just order the food myself', proceeding to take out a phone from his waterproof jacket.
