Tashlich Poem by Linda Hepner

Tashlich

Rating: 5.0

Into the fountain I dive
And bump my head.
Into the ocean you dive
Over your head.

Dazed I wait for the stars to clear, and then
I see with clarity atomic air
In all its particles of where and when
Until into millennia and there
We all dissolve
To soon evolve
Emotionless as gas
Senselessly a mass
Our pains absurd, eternal, howling dead.
