Tattoo Arm Addiction Poem by Wayne Falconer

Tattoo Arm Addiction

I lay this poem upon would be writers
A group of kinda poet one nighters
heavy honest words bout will to survive
how friend of mind came to arrive.

Dark girl with tattoo arm
sits with look of dead calm
who knows where she's been
weird events those eyes seen.

Her phrases shatter star night
modern day myths tear at light
stories of getting deathly high
needles crosses within the eye.

Her audience are sworn to silence
listen to tale of junkie violence
this modern urban city nightmare
where angel hearts are layed bare.

Booze, prostitution, drug illusion
created high urban lost confusion
where right is confused with wrong
arrives with dead flower song.

Dark girl with long sweeping hair
has sad vacant lost stare
describing her own police conviction
past lost to drug craven addiction.

This explosive confession prompted lady to ask
promptly taking my story line to task.
Was I writing from personal experience view
I replied lady answers entirely up to you.
