Tattooed Rose Poem by Miranda Oney

Tattooed Rose

A beautiful rose, sitting somber still,
over the heart of the beloved.
Such a sight sends up a chill,
seeing Love on that bed.
Red as blood the petals are
against the silky flesh.
The rose is there to cover a scar,
this is where skin and ink mesh.
