Teach Me How - Poem by Katherine H. Hageman

Take my hand
let me lead you to my heart
beyond the protective walls
(built of fear, anxiety, loss, betrayal)
to warmth unknown
enveloping every sense and curve
holding you close
never letting go
tear down my defenses
help me feel
experience all love has to offer
teach me how
