Tear Drops Poem by Clinton ricks

Tear Drops

An aching soul only hurts a sad heart,
l-o-v-e's letters seperate when we depart
from eachother, like a newborn taken
from the warm embrace of its mother,
tears fall from my face like rain on a sunny day,
because my love is still bright,
so smile and feel my shine

Only when your heart is gone
do you feel empty inside,
to be lonely, is to hide in the dark
of a forgotten shadow, that would not
be an option more of a compromise,
to being l o n e l y,
six words never sounded so wrong,
but what is there to do
after she sung sweet temptation,
and lured you in
with the melody of the sirens song,
only to let you fall like raindrops,
but its sunny outside,
so those wetspots must be teardrops
