Tonight I sit with eyes full of tears,
My head and heart pounding, with all of my fears.
I will make no more promises that seem too easily broken.
Instead I give you this guarantee that is not only spoken,

But also in writing for all to see.
That I will never again go back to RP.
I will ask even though I’m afraid it may be useless,
Please don’t let friends old or new come between us.

I honestly did not want to argue or fight,
I just wanted to be in your arms tonight.
Instead as I wipe away tears that begin to fall.
I am sitting here praying for a message or even a call.

I fear I feel you going, pulling away,
And I just want to scream and beg you to stay.
I know that without you I’ll never be whole,
For you are the Love Of My Life, My Heart & My Soul.
