Tears - Poem by Mukta Sawant

Small water drop,
From eyes it pops,
And on check it hops,
It's not as big as river Nile,
Sometimes it shows
Happiness's crop,
Even just for a while,
Our lips feel that smile,
Lives in our heart for miles.

Sometimes it is bad,
Makes us feel sad,
in a worried style,
It's a worthless dial,
Everyone always fear,
From this kinda tear,
Which stays in heart?
For years and years.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Tears comes in two ways tears of happiness and tears of sorrow.

The crop of happiness, the smile lives in our heart for miles. But the crop of sorrow, the tears stay in our heart for years together. Beautiful! (Report) Reply
