Tears - Poem by Jackie Kirby

Look into my eyes tell me
what you see You must
look deeply enough so
you can see The pain
you brought to me See
the tears i've held inside
The emptyness you left
in my life I could fill the
deepest river With all
the tears I've held inside
Someday the tears will
dry An a new life shall
began for me Then the
stars above will shine for
me once more
