Tears Poem by Tehillah Thomas

Tears

A flood from within,
A waterfall from beneath,
A fresh spring from the rocks of our soul.

No matter the emotion,
This water must flow,
Joy, gloom or hunger,
Sadness or anger,
This water must flow.

This water, though not drinkable,
Is refreshing,
This water washes away agony,
The dam of emotions use this water,
To ignite the current in our souls.

'Cry yourself a river',
And drown your problems in it.

Let this water flow.
