Papa, today in light I understand,
Like one been in the dark,
You're stopping me from wailing,
Upon fights with my sisters.
A man never cries,
Be a man
Through this papa,
Holding tight my tears I have learnt
Vainly like spinster muscles holding urine
Boldly faced the worlds. harshness,
Like a deer born in winter.
Confidently accepted rejections,
Wearing a smile like a clown
Just to be a man, like you Father.
Little did I know papa,
The tears men cry,
Are the most unbearable
Like holding ice with bare hands.
Walking gently, bold and confident
Rivers of tears flowing in their hearts
Like waterfalls in the kidepo valley
And no one can tell!
