Tears Of Clarity. Poem by Chelsea Hansford

Tears Of Clarity.

They say time is a healer,
But I am yet to heal,
They tell me I'll get over it,
But I'm liking how I feel.
True love is a pleasure,
Heartbreak is a pain,
But it gives one perception,
So I'd gladly do it all again.
You may think that I suffer,
From a warped reality,
But the truth is alot stranger,
Im getting in touch with the real me.
If you never knew true pain,
Love will pass you blind,
Id rather cry a thousand tears,
And have all that pain entwined.
Then when love shall meet me,
My tears will serve to be,
A stick I roughly measure by,
And that means alot to me.
