The tears of the world
are as old as mankind
began with woman Eve
in the wonder garden
crying tears after disobeying God.
The tears of the world
are as modern as mankind
today terror in Israel
a mother cries for her dead son
cries tears for the countless dead.
As ancient and modern as mankind.
