Technology And Digital Copies. Poem by thomas skypembrook

Technology And Digital Copies.

Digital copies have been lies
touting they are perfect copies
nothing is further from the truth
digital copies have made the world slide into a world unknown
where the originally made copies have been perfect.
now the originally made copies have been copied by digital
copies that proliferate and cause the originally made sensational
copies to be diluted and forgotten.
all of a sudden,
the world has lost so much.
so much memories gone.
digital copies shouldn't cost the world so much, but they do.
technology world isn't perfect.
operating systems that power computers that churned out these digital copies are the culprits.
these operating systems are getting unwieldy and not perfect anymore.
past operating systems are so much better at keeping originally made copies being turned into digital copies perfect.
that makes me lament,
oh world, why this intransigence?
forgive the world, forgive the rotten technology.
what are technologies for.
help us all.
be mystics.
be magic.
arthur clarke says advanced technology is like magic.
we should be like that.
we shouldn't give up.
sold our souls because we don't care anymore.
something rotten in the state of technology.
good things are ignored and pushed to shut.
all have been said.
don't forget you can improve.
all of you.
make things beautiful.
