Teddy Bear Poem by Prafulla Kumar Panda

Teddy Bear

The glint in your eyes and silence upon your lips
reminds me of my beloved who too in silence sits
but through her raised brows her heart often speaks
of her vehement love, which for me, she always keeps

as she holds you against her tender and fleshy bosom
her heart cooks a potful of love on the stove of fiery passion
in my absence her sizzling lips often share a kiss or two
amidst whispering banters when both of you gleam at dusk dim and low

how stunning and smart you look in a furry coat that you wear
so is my belle's look- petite and charming with her wavy, satin hair
with her every docile step, and with her every racy stare
she raises the beats of passion which my heart often longs to share

in the season of love, o teddy bear! be a witness to our love
when it gallops swifter than a horse, that once as gentle as a dove.
