When I was a member of teenage
Acting I was in an angry and hungry stage
With curiosity and thirst for no mere wrongs to justify
I was the most inquisitive spy
In my life with impulses manifold,
And with various perspectives, I was so bold
Once a scientist, then a superstar,
Once a poet then a notorious gangster
With no perpetual philosophy of life
I lived with no deep oceans to dive
A little while I was the most virtuous sage
A bit later, I am amid monkey’s base
Not with anger but with a bit of hunger
Caught by madness and struck by youth-hood thunder
And with the joy of youthful splendor
I would all the fun plunder
When somewhere there had been an injury
My innocence was the holiest verdict of the jury
Now that my thrill to overcome such a stage
Has just escaped a mysterious cage
But the monuments of that life, myself to pacify,
Are the shrill joys of memories that I was a spy.
