Teenage Lust Is The Best Kind Of Love Poem by Diego Adrian Manriquez

Teenage Lust Is The Best Kind Of Love

Open you eyes,
Take a good look at me,
Do you really think I am what you believe?
You should have seen this coming, right from the start,
You could have saved these tears,
But baby you've come too far,
It was FAKE,
And all it took was one word of wisdom 'love',
Misunderstood by many,
Used to getting what I want,
And now you lay there in your bed,
Swearing you'll never live through this,
I've seen time and time again,
You think no one will be able to light up the spark,
No one can make you feel the same way,
No one can make you believe,
And no one chooses to prove you wrong,
But here he comes your 'knight in shining armor',
Just be careful, he hits a home run on the first date,
And with the way he uses his words,
I'm sure he already has you undressed.
