Tell Me Poem by sandra lagos

Tell Me

Tell me it's the end of the world and I won't even blink,
but tell me that you're leaving and I can't even think.
Take the breath away from me it wouldn't hurt half as bad,
as you taking with you every beautiful memory I had.
You are like my earth and I the moon that revolves around,
because wherever you go I'll follow and wherever you're lost I'm found.
Tell me the sun has exploded and we have no more time,
it would be meaningless to me just as long as you are mine.
You're what keeps me moving and helps me set up my next goal,
you are that beautiful light that shining brightly from my soul.
I'd rather die a thousand times than live without you near,
not having you around would be my one and only fear.
So tell me it's the end of the world and I won't even blink,
but tell me that you're leaving and I can't even think.
