Tell Me You Love Me Poem by lucas tuka

Tell Me You Love Me

My beloved you are fair
my love behold you are fair
you have dove eyes behind your veil
your hair is like a flock of sheeps
going down from my heart

your lips are like a strand of scarlet
dear your mouth is lovely
your words gives me joy
your temples behind your veil
are like a pomegranate

until the day breaks
and the shadows flee away
i will always remember you in my heart
you are all fair my love
there is no spot in you Eden panotes

you have ravished my heart
my sister, my spouse
you have ravished my heart
with one look of your eyes
with one link of your necklace

your lips, oh my love
drips as the honeycomb
honey and milk are under your tongue
and the fragrance of your garment
are like the fragrance of goodnews
i will continue to be lovely and loyal
to the woman of my life

Wonderful poem! It reminds me of a book I read many years ago, The French Lieutenant's woman by John Fowles. I own the book and the movie and just this morning, watched the movie again. I plan to reread the book as soon as possible; I already have plucked it from my bookshelves. It is my opinion that love is everything that makes us human. And it does not need to be said in so many words....it is shown by all the little things we do and say to each other in the course of our lives... you must know you are loved, my friend on the other side of the world...
