I walked through the gates
She walked through them too
I fed the dog
She took him out to poo
I read her the news
She helped me shampoo
I wanted to eat the cake
She made me some stew
I called her a 'git'
She shouted 'shoo'
The dog ate that piece of me
Where once was a tattoo
She plastered the broken me
I colored it a bright hue
The wound filled soon
The skin grew anew
Same walls, same cracks
Weathered ship, old crew.
