Temperance Poem by _ 849

Temperance

His tenacity evaporates
as his disadvantages boil him.
Why couldn't he just been brought
like everyone expects people to be?

The interestingly hollow person that he is,
seem to only exist for others to be pleased.
He never feels entirely cheery,
yet always endeavors delighting beings.

His hunt for people's jubilation
is only making him wear away.
But he doesn't want to decay,
he only wants the ache to cease.

So yes, the world is unfair to him.
Yes, all he goes through is unjustified.
Yes, whining might make him feel satisfied.
But it will never make him live a painless existence.
