Tempest Poem by Aman Hussain

Tempest

Rating: 5.0

The waves and the tides.
The wrath of the skies.
The gushing wind, the spreading night.
The creeping crest wholly fright.
Approaching tempest a blight for the lives.
Everything is over with tears in eyes..
From sailors hands the last rope has slipped.
Triumphantly the tempest growled.
The roaring waves in the blasting storm.
The fearful cries and all the hopes gone.
Waiting for their death and eyes shuttered with tears of peur.
But among those woe begone eyes emerged like light of hope.
A soft hand of the sailor's daughter.
'God is there. No need to fright. We just have to try.'
said with her face bright.
Her voice crushed the howl of the tempest.
Ready again for the fight.
The sailor and his team out of the deck.
Like the lions ready, mighty predator to fetch.
