Temptation Poem by Leaking Pen

Temptation

Spring hope birthed you
But summer lust ripened you
Who gave you that exotic finish?
Last touch of seductive colour!

Wiry spectacles are drawn to you
Frail lips caressing you
Alas! You're out of my reach
Jewel in the tree's crown.

Last ripe apple touching the skies
I envy the breeze and the Sun
The scent from you lifts the day
The Sun reflects your golden hue.

Strong legs, and determined hands
The boy in me fetches you...
Alas! Old age my current suit
I taste the memory of you!
