Temptation Sensation Poem by Andrew D Robertson

Temptation Sensation

Rating: 4.0

Time to go now, but not for good.
Sleep is calling and so is food.
Needing to clean, I run abound
Till I find you on the ground.

Now, wanting things I should not want,
And feeling things which I should not feel.
My heart beating like a ballistic drum,
I help you up just to feel.

To feel such beauty,
It would fill me with glee.
And by your leave,
My hands will roam free.

Now I know the things I feel
Will bring happiness and love anew.
Temptation is explicit,
Yet, it is nothing without you.

Sharp, jagged rhythem, seems left to its own in parts, some unfinished thoughts that force to reader to use his/her imagination. I like it. Unusual. . I had a problem with the word glee though. Scary word. Gave me chills. But an interesting, thoughtful read. Thanks for sharing.
