Temptress Poem by Josh Blight

Temptress

A gentle wind creeps slowly by
blowing strands of hair into your face.

The sun gleams brightly in your eyes
your body personifies beauty and grace.

I admire your movements along the beach
the shapely curves along your frame.

Knowing your heart no man can reach
knowing your love no man can attain.

Ever so slowly you fade away
melting into the ocean deep.

A temptress, nothing more
for you are but an empty dream
in a bitter, vicious world
where nothing is as it seems.
