Carpe Diem Poem: Tenderness of Time
We walk on glass beneath the sun,
Our breaths as fragile as the light;
Each heartbeat whispers we are brief,
Each shadow hums of fleeting night.
Yet knowing how our bodies bend,
How dreams can crack with sudden strain,
We taste the sweetness of the dawn,
The soft relief of gentle rain.
Fragility is not despair,
But tender proof that life is rare;
The trembling hand, the faltering step,
Make every pulse more fiercely fair.
So hold the hour, embrace its weight,
Let vulnerability refine;
For knowing how we break and bend
Makes every moment wholly mine.
