Terror Reflecting In My Eyes

Rating: 4.5

Terror reflecting in my eyes

I am going to my uncle’s residence,
A journey of hardly seven hours
Across the shallow valley,
Preceded by a statue a far.

So we set off, happily and cherishingly
To the journey to the hill station.
But who knew, it would
Turn to an eerie point of cremation.

As we reached the road,
Leading to our destination,
A rapid series of firing
Changing the map of the hill-station.

My family to save my life
Wore the crown of death,
I was behind them, hiding
They saved all of my breath.

That shallow valley
Was now an ocean deep
Full of blood and dead
Mid to crease.

That journey of seven hours
Seemed to be of seven days,
In the place of the statue of Shiva
Was only a marble base.

That terror attack could be seen
Cleary in my young, delicate eyes.
My smile had now been replaced
By blood, bullets and cries.

They did their work and went away.
But my dear ones were lost
And no one could ever pay their cost.
I cried as I went into my spirit’s south.

Showers ran down my cheeks,
The edge of my eyes to that
Of my lips.
My delicate eyes could never forget this attack.

So, Today also whenever I blink my eyes,
That rebel flashes upon my inward eyes,
I am reminded of the fact that
The beads of our family string miss

These religious rebellions
Snatch others heart and breathe
Impeccable, innocent people are killed.
Unknowingly about these religious, these religious threat.

Why did they do this?
What wealth did they gain?
The terrorists, they were never caught,
But them I and a handful more
Never forgave never forgave never ever forgave.
