Terry Hefner We Love You Poem by Lloyd Savage

Terry Hefner We Love You

Terry Lynn Hefner we still love you;
Your mom feels sad she was not better to you;
And we still are waiting for you to be found
After 27 years where were you bound?

Your profile and picture is still on
The Charley Project.com, in the Texas state missing;
And though you've never met me
I help your mom keep her sanity when she crys
And misses you most days.

We put ribbons on the oak tree for you
In watching for you to come home,
And messages on our website
Yet still each day you're gone.

You are 47 or so years old now
But though I never met you
And Harry Daryl has passed away
I an your mom are friends and hearing
About you, seeing your pictures and her grief
I too love you like a daughter through knowing her.

We just trust one day you'll call
No matter what you did or where you are;
Or you will find a way to escape what's holding you
Cause to us you are a STAR! !

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Terrie Lynn Hefner, aka (possibly Davis) we still look for you to come home. I post this as a poem so others will also read and if they saw you they can contact us or Namus missing persons. If someone knows they are holding you please let her just come home safe and alive it is all we ask back to Louisiana where she belongs and where we will love her with more Christian love anyone has ever known once she knocks on our door. Even if the best you can do, mail us a letter or card, or leave a note on the door or a hint you are ok, just something please. Like John Walsh said 'Not knowing is the worst.' I had two children my boy died at 31 my daughter of 34 yrs is crippled in a wheelchair and both were missing from me for 13 years till they were grown. To me you are the other daughter I never got to love, like I always have loved people and especially kids in my life. My daughter and I seldom speak although she is on facebook and I am not. I also hope Terrie that IF Red Trevillion is still alive he may tell us where he thinks you might be. Terry just come home asap we love you always.
