Suffocating in the emotions I own,
Dying with the pain and loss,
Wishing I wasn’t alone,
I love you, my heart I cross.

I can’t live without you,
I’m sorry for crying on you today,
I love you with love so true,
I need you with me, I say.

I want to be with you forever and ever,
I don’t want to lose us,
I can’t lose you, never,
I do love you, yes.

As afraid as I am,
I know you will be there,
I just have to cross over this dam,
Please, my heart, don’t tear.

Crying night after night,
Trying to go to sleep,
The tears fall, I just hope this is right,
It’s hard to heal a cut so deep.

Broken into two,
I know my heart you’ll save,
I love you, do you love me too,
With one move, my heart, to you, I gave.

Those three words, I fear,
I know you’ll keep me safe and out of harms way,
I just need you here,
Can’t you see I need you to stay?

All I needed was you to be here for me,
Thank you for listening to my heart,
I was drowning in the sea,
Please keep me from falling apart.

I love you, I can’t lie,
I know the truth,
You chose me, but I still don’t understand why,
I need you, even in our youth.
