Thank You Poem by Michael Moorcroft

Thank You

I guess it’s all down to you,
The tears that I cried were worth it,
The lonely lunches too,
Now you shudder in fear when you see me,
You made me a stronger person,
And one not to be messed with,
Did you think I’d commit suicide?
Well I’m not like the rest,
Yes I might have ‘run from the fight, ’
I might have lost that one,
But overall I’ve won,
Yes I tried violence and punching you felt good,
But through words and manipulation,
I’ve brought you to your knees,
Did you think you could make me snap?
With your heavy oppression?
You didn’t think I’d make a come back,
Mess with a b**tard and your gunna get bitten!

I guess it’s all down to you,
The way I am today,
For that I thank you,
But you’ve created your worst nightmare.
