Thanks for letting me know,
Never to talk to strangers,
To never open the door,
To potential harmful or deadly risk.
If I hear a haunting voice,
Calling out my name,
Like Madness, but nobody is present,
For miles of my circumference.
Don't respond back towards it,
For it may lead to danger,
And put me in harm's way,
Thanks for letting me know,
Never to talk to strangers.
Those friendly faces,
May hide sinister beings,
Luring me with their charm,
But I'll keep my distance.
Thanks for the warning,
Never to open my heart,
To those who may harm me,
And tear my world apart.
I'll stay on my guard,
And trust my instincts,
Thanks for letting me know,
Never to talk to strangers.
The world can be dark,
And full of unknown dangers,
But with caution and awareness,
I'll stay out of harm's way.
Thanks for the lesson,
To never let my guard down,
For even in the brightest of days,
Evil can lurk around.
So I'll walk with my head held high,
And my eyes wide open,
Thanks for letting me know,
Never to talk to strangers.
