Thanksgiving Poem Poem by Ana Green

Thanksgiving Poem

It's already fall
And it's getting cold
So be prepared
And grab a coat!

You can play with the leaves
That fell from the trees
It’s really, really fun
Until you have to clean up.

Red, yellow, orange
The colors for this season
They’re warm and bright
Just like a bonfire’s light.

Then when it’s lunchtime
You just can’t decide:
Should you eat the turkey…?
Or the pumpkin pie…?

After lunch
You go out and play
With the piles of leaves
Again and again!
